Net-Plus-Energy-Building means that it produces more energy than it needs from the outside.

00:00:45.490 --> 00:00:49.090
The new Town Hall in the Stühlinger quarter is very special for Freiburg as Green City,

00:00:49.090 --> 00:00:53.440
because we also want to live sustainability. This means we can not

00:00:53.440 --> 00:00:57.010
always complain about the effects of climate change at the international and

00:00:57.010 --> 00:01:01.480
local level, complain about environmental measures, but we have to implement

00:01:01.480 --> 00:01:05.250
them concretely.

00:01:06.900 --> 00:01:12.070
The new town hall is planes as Net-Plus-Energy-Building,

00:01:12.070 --> 00:01:15.820
and in connection with this very high design quality, it has already won the

00:01:15.820 --> 00:01:30.689
German Sustainability Prize in 2018.
